Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to ajhomesupply.sg, your use of the AJ Home Supply online store and purchases made through it. The store is operated by AJ Home Supply PTE LTD (UEN 202143805E), at 7 Gambas Crescent, #02-07, Singapore 757087.

By using the store or submitting an order, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Warranty Policy also apply where relevant. Product-specific terms, an accepted written quotation or a separately agreed service scope may supplement these Terms.

You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you place an order for a company or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to act for them and that the delivery and contact information you provide may be used to fulfil the order.

If you are not legally able to enter into these Terms, a parent, guardian or other authorised adult should place the order.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting access to your account and notifying us promptly if you believe it has been used without permission. Do not share authentication codes or attempt to access another customer’s account.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the store, investigate suspected fraud or misuse, comply with law or enforce these Terms. You may browse and purchase without an account where guest checkout is available.

We take reasonable care to present product names, descriptions, images, finishes, dimensions, specifications and compatibility information accurately. Screen settings, lighting and manufacturing variation may affect how colours and finishes appear. Manufacturers may also revise specifications or packaging.

Images are illustrative and may show optional accessories, styling items or a particular variant. The selected variant, written description, stated inclusions and order summary determine what is ordered. Please contact us before purchase if a measurement, finish, voltage, capacity, installation method, compatibility point or included item is critical.

You are responsible for assessing whether a product is suitable for its intended location and use, with advice from a qualified professional where appropriate. We will correct material errors that come to our attention.

Prices are displayed in Singapore dollars unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, optional services and any applicable taxes or fees will be shown before payment or stated in an accepted quotation.

Promotions, discounts and vouchers may have eligibility requirements, redemption limits, expiry dates, product exclusions or minimum-spend conditions. Unless stated otherwise, they cannot be exchanged for cash, combined with another offer or applied retrospectively.

If a price, promotion or product detail is clearly incorrect because of a technical, data-entry or supplier error, we may decline or cancel the affected order before fulfilment. If payment has been captured, we will refund the affected amount using the original payment method or another agreed method.

Placing an order is an offer to purchase the items in your cart. An automated receipt or payment confirmation acknowledges that we received the order; it does not by itself guarantee acceptance or availability.

We accept an order when we expressly confirm acceptance, begin fulfilment, dispatch the goods or notify you that they are ready for collection, whichever occurs first. We may contact you to verify details before accepting an order.

We may decline or cancel an order where an item is unavailable, information or pricing is materially incorrect, payment is not authorised, delivery is not reasonably available, we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse, or fulfilment would breach applicable law. We will notify you and refund any captured amount for an unaccepted or cancelled item.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers and may be subject to their terms and security checks. You authorise the relevant amount to be charged when you submit payment.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method. We are not responsible for a bank or payment provider declining a transaction, placing a temporary authorisation hold or applying its own fees.

Catalogue availability is not a guarantee that an item can be dispatched immediately. Bulky, imported, supplier-dependent, customised or special-order items may have longer lead times. Any delivery or availability date is an estimate unless we expressly agree in writing that it is guaranteed.

If an item becomes unavailable or materially delayed, we may propose a revised timeframe, a suitable alternative or cancellation and refund of the affected item. We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

Delivery charges, thresholds, estimated timeframes and available collection options are described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy and at checkout. You must provide a complete and accurate address, postal code and contact number, and ensure reasonable access to the delivery location.

For bulky goods, you are responsible for checking access routes, lift dimensions, stairways, doorways and any building or management restrictions. Additional charges may apply to a failed delivery, redelivery, waiting time, special access or services not included in the original order, where disclosed and agreed or otherwise permitted by law.

Inspect the order promptly. Contact us as soon as reasonably practicable if packages are visibly damaged, goods are missing or the delivery does not match the order.

Unless expressly included in the product page, order confirmation or written quotation, product prices and standard delivery do not include installation, removal, disposal, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, modification or other site work.

Installation should be performed by appropriately qualified persons and in accordance with manufacturer instructions and applicable requirements. Before installation, check dimensions, utilities, water pressure, voltage, load, ventilation, waterproofing, structural support and other relevant site conditions.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for damage caused by unsuitable or unauthorised installation, misuse, modification, failure to follow instructions, incompatible site conditions or work performed by an independent third party not engaged by us.

Change-of-mind requests and the process for damaged, incorrect or defective goods are described in our Returns & Refunds Policy. Contact us before returning an item so we can provide the correct instructions.

For eligible consumer transactions in Singapore, the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 may provide remedies for goods that do not conform to the contract, including repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or rescission. Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Special-order, customised, clearance, hygiene-sensitive, opened or installed items may not qualify for a voluntary change-of-mind return, but this does not remove mandatory rights for qualifying non-conforming goods.

Manufacturer or supplier warranty coverage varies by product. Its duration, scope, exclusions and claim process are governed by the applicable warranty terms supplied for that product. Keep your order confirmation and relevant serial or model information.

Warranty support may require photographs, video, installation information, inspection or return of the item. Do not dispose of an affected product before receiving instructions. See our Warranty Policy for more information.

If you submit a review, image, question or other content, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, relates to your genuine experience, does not infringe another person’s rights and is not unlawful, threatening, abusive, deceptive or malicious.

You retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display it for operating and promoting the store. We may moderate, reject or remove content that does not meet these requirements, reveals personal information, is unrelated to the product or creates a legal or security risk.

The website, branding, layout, text, graphics and other materials are owned by or licensed to AJ Home Supply and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the store for personal shopping and ordinary business purchasing.

You must not interfere with the site, bypass security, scrape or copy the catalogue at scale, introduce malicious code, use automated means that impose an unreasonable load, impersonate another person, or use our content or branding in a misleading or unauthorised way.

The store may use or link to payment, authentication, delivery, messaging, social-media or other services operated by third parties. We do not control their separate websites or general practices. Their own terms and privacy notices apply when you interact directly with them.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or any other liability that applicable law requires us to bear.

Subject to those mandatory rights, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control. Any limitation is subject to applicable law and the reasonableness requirements that apply to the transaction.

Information on the website is general product information and is not professional plumbing, electrical, engineering, architectural or design advice. Where suitability or safety depends on site conditions, obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, supplier failure, labour disputes, utility or network failure, cyber incidents, government action, public-health events or import restrictions. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and keep you informed where an accepted order is materially affected.

We may update the website and these Terms to reflect changes to the store, our services or applicable requirements. The revised Terms apply from the effective date shown on this page. Terms in force when we accepted an order will continue to govern that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

These Terms and purchases made through the store are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have jurisdiction, subject to any applicable right to use a tribunal, mediation or other dispute-resolution process.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent relief or using a statutory consumer remedy.

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be adjusted or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer an order or rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a genuine business reorganisation or sale, without reducing your mandatory rights.
